Since its establishment, LuCE has continually developed a range of reports tackling relevant challenges for the lung cancer community, such as access to treatment, care and testing, as well as issues around clinical trials in Europe.
LuCE is currently running a research to analyse the emotional and social impact of lung cancer in patients and caregivers. Even though lung cancer is one of the most prevalent types of cancers and the deadliest one, there is a lack of research on the psychological and social impact of the disease, leading into a global public health challenge. In addition, this lack of better knowledge around all these issues seems to prevent getting better results for the community.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help us with this research by completing an online survey. The objective of this survey s to explore patients’ and caregivers´ experiences about the emotional and social impact of lung cancer, and to identify main barriers to accessing care. These results will be presented in the 5th LuCE Report, which will be launched this November. The report will be open access and available on the LuCE website.
There are no right or wrong answers in this survey, it will take you around 15 minutes. Your answers will remain confidential and we will not ask you for personal information.
Thank you for your collaboration!
