On 7 December 2022, with the occasion of the European Cancer Forum, an event supported by Lung Cancer Europe and the Swedish Institute for Health Economics, hosted by MSD, MEP Cristian Busoi launched a call to action for achieving better patient outcomes for all cancer patients and in particular for those suffering from lung cancer. “We must prioritise prevention, taking action for early diagnosis and early treatment, and increasing health literacy and data collection if we want to reduce mortality from lung cancer, but also from other cancer” he argued.
