Project Manager

EU Policy & Project Support Officer
As EU Policy & Project Support Officer, the successful candidate will support the Policy Team and assist the Executive Team with a range of policy and project-based activities.
This will include – but not be limited to:
➡️ Representing LuCE and the patient voice across core project work
➡️ Assisting in the management and implementation of EU funded projects in alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives and compliance with EU regulations
➡️ Supporting the preparation, submission, and progress of project proposals monitoring and reporting of project progress, financial status, and outcomes
➡️ Contributing to policy analysis and development related to lung cancer advocacy, informed by project findings and EU policy landscapes Monitoring EU policy developments impacting patient access to lung cancer treatment and care
➡️ Identifying relevant policy concerns and drafting policy positions, reports, and consultation responses for pertinent opportunities within the European context.
Requirements:
➡️ Bachelor’s degree
➡️ Three to five years of experience in project management
➡️ An understanding of EU policies, particularly in health or cancer-related domains would be an advantage
➡️ Proficiency in English with effective communication skills
Desirable:
➡️ Experience in health policy, public health, political science, public policy or international relations and experience in managing EU-funded projects.
➡️ Experience in advocacy, government relations or community projects and experience working in a non-profit organisation or in European patient advocacy would be a plus.
Initially this is a part-time role (approx. 20 hours per week) and is a ‘remote-working’ position
so the candidate can be resident in any European country.

Project Manager
As Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the project management, leadership, and creation of an annual project management roadmap on specific projects with detailed project outlines, objectives, milestones, schedules, and budget.
Skills and Qualifications
➡️ A bachelor’s degree
➡️ Strong communication and presentation skills
➡️ 3 years experience working as a project manager including a proficiency in project management tools and techniques
➡️ Proficiency in English with effective communication (verbally and in writing) to a range of different stakeholder audiences such as political representatives, pharmaceutical industry, or regulatory bodies.
Desirable
➡️ Experience and understanding of advocacy principles, including legislative processes, policy analysis and coalition-building.
➡️ A qualification in business, project management and communications and/or experience of working in a non-profit organisation or European patient advocacy are also plusses.
