Lung Cancer Europe is delighted to welcome a new member to our Executive Team. Talha Jalal has been appointed LuCE’s EU Policy & Project Support Officer.
Talha is a public policy and advocacy specialist with more than a decade of experience in the global health and humanitarian sectors.
He previously served as Senior Manager for Public Policy at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, leading public affairs, advocacy and partnerships for both routine and COVID-19 vaccines for last-mile communities globally.
Prior to that he worked in the humanitarian sector, including with Doctors Without Borders, with a particular focus on displaced populations.
Talha is passionate about equitable access to healthcare and life-saving innovations. He was born in Pakistan, has worked in the United States, Switzerland, Turkey, Spain, Jordan and is now settled in Portugal.
We are very happy to welcome him to the team and look forward to working closely with him as we carry on our work on behalf of all those affected by lung cancer.
