Paris, March 27–30, 2025 – Lung Cancer Europe (LuCE) was proud to be present at this year’s European Lung Cancer Congress (ELCC), one of the most important events for lung cancer professionals, advocates, and patients across Europe.
Our team—Anne-Marie Baird (President), Alexandre Brutti (Treasurer), and Tihany Carrillo (Operations Coordinator)—were on-site at Stand 484, engaging in meaningful conversations and connecting with the broader lung cancer community.
ELCC serves as a vital platform for exchanging knowledge, advancing treatment, and strengthening collaboration. Over the course of the congress, we had the opportunity to share LuCE’s mission and hear from others working to improve outcomes for people affected by lung cancer.
A major highlight of the event was the Patient Advocacy Track, where LuCE President Anne-Marie Baird played a key role in two significant sessions:
“Addressing Minorities and Disparities in Diagnosis and Treatment”
Anne-Marie discussed how we can reduce inequalities and improve access to care for patients in remote or underserved regions.
“From Screening to Survivorship” (Co-chaired by Anne-Marie and Jill Feldman)
This session focused on creating better care pathways from early detection through to long-term support and survivorship.
We’re proud that Merel Hennink and Stefania Vallone also contributed to these impactful discussions, reinforcing the importance of patient voices at the heart of care strategies.
Thank you to all speakers and participants who brought such thoughtful insights and energy to these conversations.
We leave ELCC 2025 energised by the connections we’ve made, the ideas shared, and the commitments strengthened. The progress in lung cancer treatment and advocacy is growing—and LuCE remains committed to ensuring equitable, accessible care for all.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth, joined the discussions, and shared their perspectives.
