Berlin, April 11–12, 2025 – Lung Cancer Europe (LuCE) was proud to host our Annual General Meeting in Berlin, bringing together member organisations from across Europe to reflect, connect, and advance our shared mission against lung cancer.
We’re thrilled to share some key highlights and exciting announcements:
Too many people across Europe still face delays and barriers to lung cancer treatment. Today, we are proud to announce the launch of the LuCE Access to Treatment Atlas — a powerful new tool created with and for patient advocates and stakeholders.
Designed to support advocates, policymakers, and healthcare professionals, the Atlas empowers users to push for change, promote equity, and ensure that geography doesn’t dictate quality of care.

We are thrilled to announce Debra Montague as the new President of Lung Cancer Europe. Debra has served as LuCE Vice President over the past year and is Chair of ALK Positive Lung Cancer UK.
“I’m honoured to have been elected President of Lung Cancer Europe. Anne-Marie (@bairdam) has led with such heart, clarity and dedication—she’s shaped LuCE into a strong, trusted voice. As LuCE’s first patient President, I’ll continue building on that legacy, standing up for people affected by lung cancer, challenging stigma, and making sure our community is heard across Europe.”
