HARMONi-7: European sites now open for Phase 3 ivonescimab trial in high PD-L1 NSCLC

HARMONi-7 is a Phase 3 clinical trial evaluating ivonescimab as a first-line treatment for adults with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumours have high PD-L1 expression.

The trial compares ivonescimab -- an investigational bispecific antibody -- with pembrolizumab, a current standard first-line immunotherapy for this group. It is a randomised, double-blind study. Its primary endpoints are overall survival and progression-free survival.

To be eligible, people must not have received previous systemic treatment for metastatic NSCLC, must have a confirmed diagnosis of squamous or non-squamous NSCLC, and must have a good general performance status. Tumours must not carry certain targetable alterations, including those in EGFR, ALK, ROS1 or BRAF V600E.

Sites are recruiting across Europe. Since we shared details of this trial earlier, additional countries have been added. European countries with recruiting sites now include France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain and Turkey. The situation continues to change as new sites open.

For the most up-to-date information on recruiting sites, visit the trial's entry on ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT06767514.

Ivonescimab is investigational and not approved by regulators in Europe. This information is shared for awareness only and is not a recommendation. Whether a clinical trial is right for any individual is a decision for that person and their own clinical team.
