Lung Cancer Europe’s Annual Reports are our flagship research programme, documenting the experiences of people living with lung cancer and those close to them across Europe.
Each year, we focus on a different challenge affecting the lung cancer community. Previous reports have explored diagnosis, treatment, access to information, involvement in care, quality of life, financial pressures, stigma and mental health.
Through large pan-European surveys, supported by published research and expert input, the reports identify shared concerns, inequalities between countries and differences in the experiences of particular groups.
The findings are translated into clear recommendations for policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers and advocates. They also give Lung Cancer Europe’s member organisations credible evidence to support their work at national level.
Together, the reports form a growing body of European evidence grounded in lived experience. They help ensure that decisions about lung cancer policy, research, care and support reflect the needs of people affected by the disease.
